Water Conservation
Water conservation happens to be the current agenda of the green activists in India and abroad, which is aimed at sustainable management of fresh water, protection of the hydrosphere, and meeting the current and future human demand successfully. Water conservation helps steer clear of water scarcity and covers all the policies, strategies and activities to reach these goals.
MGMGEL has facilitated water conservation methods like digging of ponds, expansion of its water reservoirs, and installation of rainwater catching ducts and filtration systems in its solar plant facility which encompass different methods of harvesting rainwater duly endorsed by the Company.

MGMGEL has developed and rolled out a set of comprehensive waste management guidelines to ensure that all the waste generated within its premises is managed to safeguard people, property and environment and complies to all applicable regulations.
We also work towards integrating the principles of a circular economy as a part of our operations through approaches such as procurement of greener materials, extending the lives of equipment, materials and reverse logistics. We continually strive to be a leader in energy transition and sustainability. MGMGEL has acquired an extensive waste management policy to minimize the dangerous effects of such toxic waste on the ecosystem and human health. A sizable component of waste management deals with disposing of solid waste, which is usually generated by industrial and commercial activity.

The goal of these drives is to promote greenery and enhance the natural environment in the local communities and public places in and around the Plant area. Afforestation combats many pressing ecological issues like cutting of trees, soil erosion, desertification, global warming, and upgrading the resplendence and balance of the habitat. Trees draw up harmful gases and release oxygen, increasing oxygen supply into the air. MGMGEL constantly inspires its community to keep their surroundings green and clean by undertaking plantation activities and embrace a way of life for minimum waste generation, source separation of waste and disposing the waste to the nearest storage point.
